We're chasing the Northern Lights...
Join us on a journey to witness one of nature's most mesmerizing phenomena as we explore some of the world's most captivating destinations. Begin in Iceland's vibrant capital, Reykjavik, and venture into the breathtaking Thingvellir National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage Site where towering mountains surround vast, wildflower-strewn lava fields. Discover the park’s geyser area, alive with hissing springs, bubbling pools, and other geothermal marvels, as we set the stage for an unforgettable adventure.
Then you'll board the Norwegian Prima — the first in a new class of ships designed to elevate every expectation — and discover destinations of mythological lore, fascinating history and extraordinary beauty with
In Norway you'll see stunning fjords and waterfalls. Then it's on to Amsterdam, the "Venice of the North," where you can travel back in time on a gondola through Amsterdam’s Amstel River. And after exploring the ultimate European city of Brussels, Belgium you sail into Southampton to disembark and immerse yourself in the Quintessential British experience which is London.
Along the way, you'll unwind in the spacious accommodations and enjoy first-rate service aboard the Norwegian Prima, a ship boasting the most outdoor deck space of any new cruise ship. While we can't guarantee sightings of the Northern Lights, we're sailing during the perfect time of year to increase our chances. The best time to witness the aurora borealis in Iceland is between September and April, when the long, dark nights offer ideal conditions. With Iceland experiencing just 4-5 hours of daylight in midwinter, the opportunities to chase this natural wonder are abundant. And according to Visit Iceland's official tourism site, "The solar maximum—the highest rate of solar activity during the sun's 11-year solar cycle—is predicted to peak in the winter of 2024-2025." This means the timing for our group adventure couldn’t be better!
