Roatan Excursions

Our curious cruise traveler will delight in the glass-bottomed boat excursions along the coral reef, where you can discover the exquisite marine life that lies beneath the surface. The mangrove shore tour is also perfect for escaping the crowds, traveling to a small, secret canal through a system of mangrove trees on a small boat where you have a chance to discover and meet a native people to Roatan still uncontaminated by the modern world today. Coxen Hole is a favorite.

For those seeking a little R & R, the spa experiences in the jungle are sure to put your mind and body at ease. There is no shortage of ways to relax on this dreamy Caribbean island.

Costa Maya, Mexico

Costa Maya is located on the Yucatan peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo. Rich history, soft beaches, and a stunning coral reef just offshore make Costa Maya a desirable destination for people going on cruises in the Caribbean. The Costa Maya port is also the closest access point to many of Mexico's lesser-known and less excavated Mayan sites, making visits to these sites incredibly worthwhile and within easy access right off of the cruise ship.

Costa Maya Shore Excursions

A few of our top Costa Maya excursions and tour sites include the Mayan ruins at Chacchoben, Kohunlich, and Dzibanche, which are three of Mexico's best-kept secrets. At the archaeological site of the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins, you can learn about the rich history of the area and later spend time with locals who will teach you how to make traditional and authentic Mexican food. At the Kohunlich Mayan Ruins, you can visit many still intact rooms of a Mayan palace. And the Dzibanche Mayan Ruins are believed to be an early capital of the Kan Dynasty. You’ll also find important temples of Mayan history featuring pyramids built using 5th-century Maya architecture methods. There’s no shortage of sightseeing in Costa Maya!

After marveling at these incredible pieces of ancient Mayan history, swim with dolphins in Costa Maya's dazzling blue waters for a day excursion complete with excitement and intrigue. You should also scuba dive to see the wide variety of sea life in Costa Maya. If you’re looking for a snorkel tour, make sure to visit the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, full of amazing tropical fish and coral formations.

For some adventure, consider a boat tour or a kayak or canoe rental at the Bacalar Lagoon, also known as the Seven Color Lagoon by locals, where you can also see the wonderful cenotes (natural deep-water wells). There are many gorgeous places to swim, windsurf, paddleboard, and sail. Renting an ATV is another popular activity in Costa Maya.

And if you’re looking to relax, take a beach break and enjoy one of Costa Maya's beautiful beaches. Mahahual Beach is a great place to relax, with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available. There’s also an excellent beach club with an open bar right on the sea! This little town is known as a quiet place in the evenings and then springs to life when the cruise ships come in. We have excursions and tours for every activity level at every price point.

Cozumel, Mexico

Snorkeling and scuba diving among Caribbean marine life, exploring Mayan ruins in Tulum, sipping on the finest Mexican tequila on Punta Sur or Palancar beach. These are just a few of the many reasons to go on a Cozumel cruise excursion. When you step off your cruise ship, you'll see firsthand why Cozumel Island is one of Mexico's most popular and incredibly breathtaking Caribbean destinations. This lovely paradise was first settled by the Mayans when they arrived on the eastern side of the Yucatan Peninsula. The absolute magnificence of this beautiful region can only be truly appreciated by experiencing a shore excursion. Whether by air, land, or sea, exploring the island on one of our excursions is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Cozumel Excursions

Our excursions in Cozumel feature a wealth of activities, from snorkeling beautiful beach breaks and coral reefs to exciting water sports activities, such as parasailing. Perfect for its warm, tropical climate, popular Cozumel shore excursions include snorkel tours, zip-lining, off-road, dune buggy tours, sailing, catamaran sport fishing, scuba diving, tequila tasting, Cozumel Jeep tours, horseback riding, and encounters with dolphins and sea lions at Chankanaab Marine Park. Take an adventurous journey along the coast or into the jungle with ATV adventures and Jeep tours, visit historic Mayan sites, or get a day pass to a beach club. Craving something delicious? Let the Flavors of Mexico tour treat your taste buds. No matter where your tour guide takes you, there is never a shortage of beach activities and things to do.
